42.8mm Rare Antique Pateck & Co Geneva Swiss Pocket Watch Movement TO RESTORE

This movement was created by armand schwob who used the name “Pateck & Co” in the late 1800s until he was sentenced by high courts to destroy all movements labelled “Pateck & co” and pay a compensation of 15,000 francs to Patek Phillipe, This is one which has survived so perhaps it was sold before the court order.

Several law suits were filed in 1880s and 90, particularly against the firm of Armand Schab & Frere; that firm was forbidden to use names Patek or Pateck in any form.

This movement is non working & being sold for restoration, parts or repair

The balance wheel is not moving freely.
